I got the tater tots supreme it was heavenly 0 goodnesswith bacon and sausage and cheese and jalapenos and tater tots never had anything like it before the barbecue is hands-down some of the greatest and they've got excellent pizza and don't pass them by without stopping to try
Love this place always friendly and good cold beer. Have not had Pizza yet but would really like to know when John Muller is there..... or how to tell when he's there.
My fiance and I wanted to go checkout Granger City brewing and also John Mueller bbq which they share a kitchen with.
It's a cool little place in downtown Granger with about ten tables inside and several on the back porch as well. They had one of their own beers which is an Octoberfest which was good and something that reminded me of wurstfest. My fiance had the seltzer which they make and you can choose to add flavors and our waitress recommended the cherry limeade so she went with that; she said she liked it because it wasnt too sweet.
They also have 5 guest craft beer taps from other breweries and then your standard: bud, Coors, Michelob, etc. The beer selection seemed to catered to the location but I'd personally prefer to see more beers from them and then also better guest selections like pinthouse electric jellyfish or live oak jefe.
They have about two pages of their own food options besides john mueller bbq; we got the cheesy tots and they were good and saw other people seemed to be happy with the pizza they got. If you can get john mueller bbq, I highly recommend the brisket and boudin.
I'd like to go back when they have more options of their beers but still a cool spot if you're in the area.
Living in near by Holland my wife and I looking for something different had heard about the brewery in Granger. After parking, we made our way into the brewery. Tonight live music was playing in the corner just past the front door. We made our way in and seated our self. We made our to the bar meeting the owner, talked brews and order our pizza. I got the slap in the face 11% ABV, wife got a fruity drink, both were great. The pizza arrived, 15" pizza full of meat; it was good. With a to go box, we ended our evening. definitely coming back to this place.
Some great tasting beers and a unique western environment in Granger Texas
