Tried to sit at the bar and enjoy a burger. The burger was good and the staff was friendly. But the AC vents are directly over the bar. Bring a parka if you want to sit there. Moved outside to warm up.
Great atmosphere and great service! I’ve been Maggie’s Leander a few time since the opening and have enjoyed it every time. I’ve had the Three Alarm Burger and the Chicken and Black Bean Nachos, both very delicious. They a good selection of reasonably priced drinks with drink specials throughout the week. Today I’ve been watching football on the many TVs around the place. There is also a small arcade room for kids and and a patio for when the weather warms up.
It’s great to have an Austin original up here in Leander!
New spot in the little Leander "Downtown" area. The seating was good and even offers outdoor seating. Has a small game room and offers live music. The food was good and the drinks were about average for a bar. The only low point was being short staffed but we all know the hospitality industry has taken the worst beating from COVID, have patience!
Okay, here is an honest review. I had the Maggie's Three Alarm burger and it was outstanding along with the fries. How can a pub only serve 4 beers on tap with two of them being out? I had the Yuengling beer and for some reason it had a different taste to it, odd but drinkable. The prices are reasonable. Yes, I will be going back hopefully the two out of stock beers on tap will be up and running and VERY hopefully they will add more.
