China E Buffet

The food was GREAT. Everything was fresh. I did see someone post about the floors being dirty, which they were BUT it was mostly food that was being dropped by messy eaters and kids whose parents weren't watching them. I saw a toddler left with the napkin dispenser pull out about half of it's contents and litter the floor with them. I also stayed away from the dessert area as I saw more then one child grabbing jello or fruit with their hands then putting it back. Can't really put any of that on the staff because you know, I'm assuming those kids had parents. But nowadays, who knows? So...why am I not giving this place 4 stars? The service. Yes, someone did come by and pick up plates but not once were we asked if we needed anything or if we wanted refills. Which we did need refills. When I asked the hostess as she walked by she said she'd send our waiter. Never did come by...until he brought our check. By then we were full and ready to go. Will go back and this time just be a little more vocal about needing refills.

I enjoyed the food, love the variety; it's always hot. Highly recommend. The wait staff is always attentive.

Since reopening they have done a great job. Buffet is hot where it's supposed to be hot and cold where it is to be cold. Wait staff friendly and attentive. Good value for price. Will go back.

Their food is exceptional

Fried fish, shrimp, boiled shrimp, crab legs, chicken several kinds. and the list goes on and on.

Come on in take your time because you will want to taste each and every item they have to offer. Well maybe not the first time but you can come back.

Sit down tell them what you want to drink and they will keep up with the dishes , drinks , just keep going back for more.

I have tried several of these places around town but this is best so far.

Great food, great service, great price, what more can you ask for.

Best buffet in Round Rock! everything I tried was good, fresh and kept at proper temperature. Lots of shrimp dishes and the shrimp was not over cooked at all...quite delicious! Good soup options. Great sushi options! Exceptional Mongolian Grill with fresh shrimp available as a protein. Lots of beef dishes including a delicious beef egg roll. The fish offerings were way better than most buffets and quite a pleasant surprise! The ladies picking up plates were friendly and efficient but never intrusive. I can't tell you how good the desserts are because I was too full from sampling all of the great dishes and had no room for dessert???? Since I will definitely be back I will update this review to include dessert later.
