Salt Lick

Amazing food! We had Nick D. as our server and he was fantastic. Very attentive and quick to bring us more portions of melt in your mouth brisket, perfect ribs, and delicious sausage. Everything came out piping hot right off the pit quicker than if you were at a fast food restaurant even though The Salt Lick was a packed house. A+!

We had the most delicious brisket, turkey, sausage, bread, and sauce at this place. The funny thing is that my house is not even 10 minutes from this place, but better late than ever ???? Very friendly service all around. Love it. Definitely be back again and also they have live music on the weekend.

While not quite as good as the original this is a fantastic Texas BBQ joint. Lots of seating inside and out. The wait staff has service down to a science. I highly recommend doing the family style option so you can try a little bit of everything. If you're putting sauce on your BBQ you're doing it wrong. Also conveniently located next to Dell Diamond so go so an Express game or an Austin Elite Rugby game!

Omg!! Seriously!! Every THING was great. Sausage had flavor and juicy. Chicken was perfectly cooked AND JUICY! The ribs were TENDER AND JUICY and did Not need any sauce. Slaw was great!! Toast was...what kind of bread was that anyway?!? Toast was AMAZING! I see why they made it on the Food Network.
