    It was very good when it was open

    We eat there as often as we get a chance. Today we were the only ones there, and we were treated like his most favorite customers ever. The food is good, plentiful and not over priced. If you like honest country cooking and good service, this is the place to go.

    The pork chop was good and the greens were good. The gravy had a slightly burnt taste but perhaps that was because of the freezing cold weather and very few customers. I did find one fork that wasn't clean but everything else was good and they have good fried pies, Ive heard. The pies were gone so want able to try them. The manager was nice and friendly and they have some nice stuff like cracker barrel for sale except on a mini scale.
