    I went to the cafe for the lunch special. I ended up ordering chicken fried steak, not my favorite, because the second special was a sandwich. The steak was very hard to cut up and chew but their gravy was delicious
    By the time I had eaten about 1/2 of my lunch, everything was cold. The food was seasoned well, but just not their usual quality. The tea was barely more than sugared water, but the red velvet cake was deliciois. The staff was friendly and helpful, but my waitress was slow and easily distracted or confused. The room temp was miserably cold.

    A great lunch and breakfast spot! Very community oriented with really good service. The owners are hands on, and that is always a plus.
