Pleasantly surprised with our visit. After reading many lower reviews and ratings I was apprehensive. A group of 15 of us were served very well by great staff. Did not experience any of the poor quality food complaints expressed by others. The fried shrimp was nice, and I am not a seafood fan. No problem making a return visit.

Add half a star for total of 3.5. The staff is really friendly and on the ball. The restaurant is clean but often there is flies - not sure how a big fish restaurant can be fly-free, but it’s not pleasant to wave off the flies in the event one is over my plate. The buffet is all around good with no particular awesome or awful standouts. The fish was tender but two in our party said the fish breading was slightly mealy and almost chewy. The fried breaded shrimp was plentiful and delicious. They also keep the boiled shrimp topped off. The iced tea is very weak and not very pleasant. The parking situation is darned good, when the lot is full the restaurant will be full so you can get an idea of the crowd quite easily by looking at the lot.
