Great folks, very friendly and helpful. Their grapes are plentiful and beautiful.
Wonderful place to visit and well worth our drive from DFW! The owner was very helpful and even helped us with picking the muscadines. I can't wait to try the 2 bottles of wine! Hopefully we can visit again next year.
A delightful dining experience.
My hub and I went for recent dinner and to try their wine. We started off with flight of wine. We each found one we liked to have with dinner. My hub ordered the Jaeger Schnitzel and I ordered what I thought was a "grilled chicken salad" but was a mound of "chicken salad" on lettuce with crackers. It was good but not what I'd expected. My hub enjoyed his schnitzel. We shared Opa's Chocolate Cake for dessert, which was great! .... it's very small and quaint but not fancy, very limited hours and days (Th-Fri-Sat evenings only) Menu is limited, not sure how authentically German the food was but it was good, we did feel menu items were well over priced for quality and portion, except for our dessert. .... the wine tho was great! I loved the Just Right Red. ... we will be back to buy wine but as far as the restaurant, I think we'd probably just come for dessert and wine.
We had a red wine, (can't remember what it was specifically called) but it was amazing. I ordered their special of 2 meats with potato salad, beans with the chocolate moose. Their cheesecake is amazing as well. No complaints at all. The staff were friendly and enjoyable, made sure we had everything we needed and the overall environment and scenery of the place was lovely. I definitely recommend going here.
