Zao Asian Cafe

Easily the place I frequented takeout the most from during lockdown. I'm in love with the avocado-- I just wish it weren't as expensive to add on, but I can almost always justify it. The tofu is absolutely delightful, and packed with flavour as well. My only vice here is that finding nutrition info was pretty difficult, which is hard because I had to check to see what was vegetarian/vegan and what wasn't-- but the staff was very helpful in guiding me over the phone here. I really hope this place keeps hopping!

We've gone here several times in July and for the most part they are very cautious and careful with regard to COVID-19. Tables are spaced, staff wear masks, and distances are maintained. On one occasion the table had not been fully cleaned before we sat down, but it was attended to shortly thereafter. They also have outdoor seating. You can eat well here as a vegan. Love their curry sauces. This is now our favorite local restaurant.

Great addition to Farmington station! Nice decor and plenty of seating. They have an awesome selection of fresh beverages and for a first time visit, food tasted great. Staff were all pleasant and moving people down the line quickly.
