Elsa's Tacos

We love her authentic tacos.

When I saw a sign for "Elsa's Tacos" by the Moon Lake Lodge, I wondered what a camping/tacos experience would be like, since I've never experienced that combination before.

I tell you what! Not only was Elsa 's food delicious, it was some of the BEST food I've ever eaten! My husband and I shared the huge carne asada burrito, and it was honestly one of the yummiest burritos I've ever had (and that isn't just because I'd been camping-we ate well on our camping trip!). Our kids chose Bacon cheeseburgers and fries, and they were also some of the best burgers and fries we've tried (super thick bacon, crispy fries, great fry sauce). One daughter chose 3 tacos, and she LOVED them too. . . They were filled to overflowing with with carne asada (we're a steak family 🤷🏼‍♀️) and onion and cilantro, with delicious salsa on the side.

Our friends chose the pork burrito and it looked amazing too (had awesome potatoes inside) plus a quesadilla that was larger than life.

Also, their food was competitively priced, especially for the quality. Our big burrito cost $13, and one of them literally filled both my husband and I up.

Last detail: it was amazing to sit out in their shaded area behind the lodge, eating fantastic food, looking over beautiful Moon Lake, surrounded by the Uintah mountains. It's an experience we won't forget

You will NOT be disappointed if you try Elsa's Tacos!!!

Great food!! The staff was friendly and did a good job accommodating our big group. Definitely recommend the burritos, tacos, bacon cheeseburgers and fries, they were all amazing!

Highly recommend if you go to moon lake.
