The Desert Moon Hotel & RV/Tent Campground

A lovely place with a lot of character. They have unique art decorated rooms with amazing shared bathrooms, a campground, and petroglyphs just a short drive into Sego canyon.

The Desert Moon is an absolute hidden gem! I really enjoyed my stay and the price was perfect. The couple that owns this place were very welcoming and you can tell they put their hearts into restoring this place. I loved the eclectic decor and the themed rooms. I want one of those swan faucets for my house now! The historic vibe of this place really comes through — the train rolling by as the windows slightly vibrated and the horn sang out topped it off for me. The next time I'm camping in Moab I will end my trip here before the long drive back.

Unbelievably unique and beautiful!!! Each room was hand decorated & panted. The host was so sweet, accommodating and kind!

So you get a bedroom in this old boarding house, then there is this shared kitchen area, a balcony and a shared bathroom that was so artistically pieced together.. I just have never seen anything like it!

The surrounding little village seems to house like-minded, artistic AF people as there are so many cool little surprises all over the place. You seriously need to check this place out!

I stayed in the Garden room and it was so figgin' cool! And that bed was so comfy!

Have stayed here multiple times! Well worth it, the staff was amazing. We ended up throwing our wedding here and they couldn't have been more perfect. They catered to my every dream and then some! Went out of their way to make sure it was a perfect day for our wedding and guests. I highly recommend this place. Will definitely be coming back for many more years to come. The food was amazing, the rooms were very beautiful the campsites were a blast and we loved celebrating with the camp staff! The new management is working very hard to improve their overall quality and their hard work shows! 5 stars for sure!
