The Smokin' Boxcar

The food is amazing. We were here twice for breakfast and it was out of this world. We came back for lunch and had pulled pork nachos, Brisket Philly and Brisket French Dip sandwiches. Recommend all of them. Loved the pulled pork on the nachos co much we ordered a pulled pork sandwich to go.

This small town restaurant is worth coming to. The breakfast taco is delicious! The prices are amazing. You will leave feeling full, satisfied and not broke. It is clean, the staff is kind and helpful. Jack, the owner is wonderful. You can tell he has a passion for making good food. I hear lunch and dinner are delicious too. I highly recommend this local gem!

My wife and I stopped at the Smokin Boxcar in Morgan, UT, to try their smoked BBQ. We ordered our food to go, but we really liked the way they set up the restaurant! We ordered a four (4) meat platter, ribs, burnt ends, and chicken, and pull pork, which came with three (3) sides, cole slaw, smoked Mac N cheese, and smoked potatoes.
We are very impressed with the BBQ! And the sides rocked!
Make the trip to Morgan or stop in on your way through. You won't be disappointed!

We drove through town and stopped here for lunch. The idea of the restaurant is creative and spot on. The staff were incredibly kind, courteous, and helpful in making selections. The brisket and pulled pork were super yummy.

We also bought two kids meals (No pictures included) and the kids liked the food. Only complaint was my kiddo didn’t like the Mac n cheese because it was a rustic smoky flavored Mac n cheese with herbs and a smoky flavor (a little too rustic for our kiddo). But that is not on the restaurant at all. Our waiter warned us and made sure we were aware of the flavor difference before ordering.

Will definitely stop again if we drive back through! We love supporting local businesses when we travel. It was indeed a delicious stop!

Delicious food! We tried the club, taco salad, kids quesadilla, Mac and cheese, and my favorite The Indecisive Smokin' Boxcar. It's basically a much tastier version of a garbage plate you'd get in Rochester, NY. Everything was fantastic and came out very fast. I ended the meal with a wagon wheel. $3 for that tasty of a desert is an absolute steal. Vanilla ice cream on top of a Utah scone (fry bread) with delicious drizzles. Definitely worth the stop!
