Sagato Bakery & Cafe

This place is fantastic! I've eaten at Sagato a few times now, and every time I'm so happy to have finally found a bakery like this in the States. Sagato is Maori, I know, but the food is very, very much like the food I found in the bakeries in South Australia while I lived there for a few years. If you want a high quality, unique bakery experience, stop by for lunch or dinner, or even for just a quick sweet treat! They have delicious savory hand pies (the mince meat with potato topping is my personal favorite), sausage rolls with flaky pastry (try the tomato sauce for dipping - delicious!), and more. Their Koko Samoa Bundt is so good, and I'm not easily pleased with chocolate cake. Keep up the great work, Sagato! So glad I found you!

This is the gold standard in America of pies and fish and chips. I have tried fish and chips all over America and this is hands down the best and it’s not even close!!

The pies are also authentic and taste great.

This place is a delight! As an Aussie Girl, I was so happy to find a piece of home! Meat Pies and Sausage Rolls! Fish and Chips! Sausage in Batter! The Deserts are incredible! I love Sagato!
