I was surprised at the value here. Large portions of exceptionally prepared food. It has a welcome touch of high class combined with plenty of "tipico" options that satisfy anyone with a hankering for Colombian comfort food. Would highly recommend to anyone, and we will be back.
First time visit today and we had a great time. The Halloween decorations are awesome at this place. The ribs, wings, and empanadas were amazing. Place has a really nice vibe and it would probably be really fun on a Friday or Saturday night.
Only complaint was the menu was in half English and half Spanish. So I ended up having to ask a lot of questions about the menu.
Would go there everyday if I could. Amazing food. Great atmosphere. Good amount of food for good price.
Took my kids and some extended family here yesterday for dinner hoping to enjoy some authentic Colombian cuisine like my momma used to make. Ive lived in Utah for 7 years now and have searched and searched for good Colombian options but always had to settle for Peruvian or venezuelan sit down restaurants, with Colombian options only being food trucks, farmers market stall/tents, or secondary options in restaurants with the emphasis still on another countries food.
But Casa Salvaje/Wild House is finally a legit option for real Colombian food. Our server Samuel was great. The music and atmosphere were great. My kids are little gringas but they loved it. And the food...
The food is amazing. Platano Maduro, queso, y bocadillo is and has always been my favorite meal of all time. My mom is Calena and we called it aborrajados but who cares about the name, the food was the same. It was excellent. My bandeja paisa was perfect. My tios all got something different and nobody had any critiques at all. The only gripe is the prices are a little high even by current standards but hey, you pay for quality. I absolutely will come back here again.
My only minor recommendation is come out with some kids meals. I wasn't sure what to get my kids so I got them an empanadas special to share.
