We have been here a few times now and the food is always excellent! The best Fish and chips I've ever had. Also the Mac and Cheese is amazing! They make everything fresh and it shows in the quality and taste. I recommend any fish fan to try this place out. When it's in season we get the Halibut fish and chips but otherwise we love the Cod. Also they do almond batter Keto Fried Fish, not bad at all. The atmosphere is ok, it's a smaller restaurant and the room is very echoey, you can hear most conversations being had at normal to low volume. Our server is always very nice.
Cant believe i have not tried this place before. I grabbed some cod and chips to go, ordered a 2 piece and was presented with an overflowing takeout container crammed full of chips and 3 pieces of fish!
the chips might have been the best fries ive ever had. and the batter on the fish was light and flaky, so good!!
i only walked in to order and get my food, but iwasnt super impressed with the atmosphere. also, no beer on the menu. other than that, highly recommend trying their food. great value for the price!
This is an awesome place. I am incredibly surprised at how good the fish is. The batter is light and the fish is super tender and sweet. The portions are also very generous. There seems to be only one person working as wait staff, so sometimes service is a little slow, but it has never been a huge deal, and they are incredibly kind and helpful. If you like fish and chips, you really can’t go wrong here.
I was looking for a fish sandwich because they’re so hard to find in the valley and was happy to find this place. I got the cod sandwich with fries, and the batter on the cod was very nice and light and not too greasy, and the fries were perfectly crisp and seasoned. Nice little addition to the Ivy place Mall. The coleslaw was freshly made. Nice and clean, and will be back.
Tried the code and salmon fish and chips. I preferred the cod but was surprised by the salmon - I expected it to be dry like others I've had before but it wasn't! Everything was fried well and I enjoyed the fries a lot. But, they definitely aren't like British "chips" so if you are expecting them to be you will be disappointed.
