Chubbys Cafe Riverton

I made a mistake by ordering the Halibut. It tasted like it just came off the Cisco truck or frozen food section at the grocery store. The burgers looked good so I may have to go back and order the right menu item. The brownie sundae was pretty disappointing too. Again, didn’t taste like it was freshly prepared, just warmed up, throw some ice cream on the top and serve.

This establishment offers a great combination of fast food and sit-down dining, with a relaxed atmosphere. I found the food to be fresh, delicious and am keen to return to sample more of the menu. Although the pulled pork was sold out, I enjoyed the beer-battered fries which were crispy and the chicken sandwich which had a moist, flavorful and huge breaded breast. The slaw had a poppyseed dressing and was a preferred alternative to regular coleslaw. The cost of the combo (a drink and a side) at four dollars seems high to me.

It's a good thing I don't live in Utah because I would live at Chubbys. While the menu is familiar cafe fare, it's so much better than what you would expect from a cafe. Every menu item is an elevated take on the classics. There are also some items that are very unique to Utah, like the scones. Great food in a great atmosphere. You can't go wrong with this place.👍

This is one of our family's favorite places to eat! My favorite is the Carolina Pulled pork. It's bun is grilled, some ends have that yummy BBQ toasted glazed ends , and my favorite part is the slaw on the sandy. We always share a side of fries big enough for 4 to 6! The food is always quality and fresh.

We have personally talked with the owner, who takes great pride in his restaurant and ensures each customer has a great experience. We had a small hiccup with some new cooks that were not quite ready for a busy night (I have been a server and understand those!) and totally made it right, even though we weren't upset. Every time we come in, he is working hard in the kitchen and getting to know the community. We have been back since and everything is just as amazing and hot as its always been, even on the crazy night to raise funds for the local school.

Fun place to meet up with friends. Lots of burgers, fries, salads, shakes, and scones. My friends all liked the Utah Burger. I had a great Cobb salad. It was definitely enough food for one person. The staff was nice and accommodating. The place (including the bathroom) was clean and tidy.
