We ordered pretty much everything in the menu and got a beef bowl to-go. Everything was just so gooood!
Some said food from the restaurant is made to maintain the business, and love is not part of the ingredients. 9-up is different. Their food is like homemade, as if you are eating in an Asian's home. The meat is tender, the sauce for the cold noodles is balanced, and many more good things than words can be used to express.
I never liked taro stuff, but the taro tapioca pudding is different than all the other taro stuff I have tried.
The beef bowl, I was told to eat that as soon as possible, but I was too full, then I heat it up later. It was still good! I wonder how much better it would be if I eat it right away!
Great food with quality ingredients. I’ve tried the Hong Kong egg tart, pork belly bun, braised pork belly rice bowl, and the taro coconut dessert and all have been delicious. Their honey fresh mint drink is so refreshing and a perfect summer drink. Can’t wait to try other items on their menu! They are also at the Pioneer Park Farmer’s Market on Saturdays.
Fresh new little place that’s full of potential!! It’s summer, and a nice bowl of taro dessert is what you need!!! I’m a simple man, and I don’t want fancy MeetFresh bowl which is just too much. The taro pudding is all you need!! It’s just enough for 2ppl to snack on and the best part is… it’s the perfect sweetness!!!! You can really taste the ingredients especially when you bite into the taro chunks. I can’t praise it more but to say…. I made my hubby drive 20min twice to get it in 2 days 🤣 worth it.
We also got their fries. I love the seaweed one and hubby is obsessed over the mala spicy. Honey bbq is a little subtle on flavor. If you see them at the farmers market or just order through their website, definitely try these snacks. So good for summer nights!!
So we ordered the popcorn chicken, jiggle fries (both seaweed and honey), two honey citrus mint soda (one with 7up and one with Mountain Dew) and the taro tapioca. First, the food smells really good! You can smell it a mile away and they taste really good, the popcorn chicken is very crispy and the jiggle fries with seaweed flavor is just the champ! The soda is so refreshing, personally i like it with 7up better but with Mountain Dew is not a bad choice either. Last but not least the taro tapioca, it is thick! But it is not sticky, very smooth when you put that into your mouth! Sweetness is perfect for me and with the smoothness, it is definitely a 10/10! Definitely going back and try the other food and drinks!
