El Maguey

I'm going to start off by saying: I'm completely new to authentic Mexican food, and to be quite honest, I was a little intimidated going into a *very* authentic restaurant. However, Jaime helped me with everything. He was very polite, gave me a fantastic recommendation for what to order, and took the time to answer the questions I had about the menu and dishes.
The restaurant was very clean, the staff was great, and the food tasted amazing.

My only regret was forgetting to grab my gordita, but that just gives me a reason to come back, and try more food :)

The food is amazing and authentic! Staff are very kind. My food was prepared fresh and hot. Food arrived in a timely manner! Way worth it!

The people here are very nice. The food is good too. They are a little slow but it's worth it.

Very authentic food and atmosphere. I felt like I was sitting in a diner and Mexico or Honduras.
I appreciated that the menus were in both English and Spanish.
The food was great, but the service was pretty slow. It looked like there may have only been one person working out front and one person working in the back, so it took about 20 minutes to get our food.
I felt like the condiments options for the tacos were pretty slim. I got about 6 oz of pico for my 3 tacos.
The homemade chips and salsa were great.

The place was clean and the service was good, but the food was not memorable. It's definitely not bad, but I would prefer to go somewhere else.
