Kumo Cafe

Very good food and experience. Little pricy, but that was expected. The crepes could have been better while the pancakes were amazing. Will definitely be going again.

This is cute cafe that has delicious food! I went on a Friday morning so it wasn’t very busy. We got the soufflé pancakes, the Alfredo crêpe, and the waffles (the one with cocoa pebbles). Despite it not being busy the food took about 35 minutes to get our food. But the soufflé pancakes were worth the wait! So flavorful and fluffy! The staff was very friendly and kept us updated on our food. I will be back for sure!

These delicate fluffy pancakes will steal your heart. They are soo goood. I ate the entire plate and some of my friends…yea. That good. The passion fruit sauce was my FAV. It’s the same one from doki doki. Just so you know, the pancakes do take some time but they are WORTH THE WAIT. They make the batter from scratch and cook them to order so they are fresh. She also makes the crème sauces and uses fresh fruit for the pancakes and mochi waffles (which also are delicious!!). The mochi waffles are crisp on the outside and chewy one the inside. Perfection! This cute cafe also makes yummy drinks, including the kumo latte which kicks Starbucks to the curb. And on top of all this goodness the owner is one of the nicest humans around! I went here twice in one week and I’ll be back again soon.

Tried this cute cafe since it was close to the Chinese market. I was very impressed by the interior on how cute and clean everything was.
I arrived just after the cafe was opened on a weekday, so I had the entire place to myself. Service was fast and with care.
It was a bit heavy on the sauce for me, so I would recommend to ask for sauce on the side or scrape it off the crepes. I did really like the strawberry latte and would like to try the other lattes in the future.

This place only recently opened up so I want to give it a pass on a couple things. I ordered two savory and two sweet crepes. The savory had a cute presentation and the sauces used were tasty. Maybe it is a personal preference but I would have liked it better if the meat was warm. I would say the savory still needs some work to be really good. The sweat crepes on the other hand were very good. They had an awesome balance of flavors and the ice cream that came with it was creamy and very well made! Definitely the strongest selection on their menu.
The service was pretty slow it took about an hour and a half to get all the crepes. I don't fully blame them the presentation was very cute and they only had two people working.
I look forward to seeing how this progresses because it definitely has potential to be really good!
