The service wasn’t my favorite, but I swear ever Asian restaurant I go to , the service always sucks . Shock to see paper plates and plastic silverware. But the food was good , the fried squid was super salty. Dim sum was good . The price is great. Atmosphere it was dirty but all of these kids of restaurants are like that.
As a Hong Konger, I would say this place is by far my favorite dim sum place in Salt Lake! (I haven't tried every single place out yet though!) They have a wide range of dim sum options and their price is very reasonable. Big portions and authentic. I recommend going in the weekend as they will have their dim sum cart in place! I like their barbecue pork noodles, shrimp dumplings, steam barbecue pork roll the most!
Enjoyed the atmosphere and food. The service is quick and food was hot. There were 6 of us - we all ordered one dish to be shared. The walnut shrimp is amazing. The sticky buns are large in portion size and tasty. But the green beans, crab legs, and soup I could eat all day. The price is reasonable and you will leave with a Togo box.
Authentic and delicious dim sum! Still warm pastries and really crispy pan friend dishes. My favorite were the shrimp cheung fun, pan friend turnip cake, and chicken feet.
Family owned restaurant. They speak cantonese and mandarin. Comfortable seating and plenty of space. They used plastic cups for water and paper plates, plastic forks but I don't think it matters because the food was delicious and that's what I spend the money on.
So this place is a fun little experience. Worth it to go there at least once, yes. There weren't many people for the dinner rush, on a holiday where it is kinda dinner heavy, valentines day, BUT it's also not off state street or the highway or anything so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt for being a bit off the beaten path. The interior is cool, it's fun, cool design. They had fun booths that made the experience very private. So the service was fine, good enough where they came to take our order and give the bill, nothing exceptional but it was fine, and the materials were plastic cups and plates, but it was a grounded Dim Sum experience so we wanted the food! Food was slightly better than the experience. Pretty good food. Four star food. Not five star super fantastic food but four stars for sure, definitely go there, I am recommending, it'll be a great experience!
