When it comes to Hawaiian food joints in Utah, this is the place. Most places use sub-par quality meat and try to disguise the lackluster chicken and beef by drowning it in sauce. Ekahi Grill uses great quality meats and fresh ingredients, without skimping on the portion sizes. They also make their own sauces, which give their food a distinct flavor and what I think, is a leg-up on the competition. The staff here is always friendly, easy to talk to and is always happy to see you. Even in times like these, it's great to see a place that has taken the proper precautions, without losing their sense of customer service. Also, the ribs are fantastic and they're not drowning in sauce, so you can taste the meat and char, unlike other places. Finally, the Maui and Volcano Sauces are straight FIRE!! Eat here and you won't regret it.

Had a little bit of a wait time but with the demand for this food its understandable! Fantastic food and service. I had the Maui Style Poke and was in nirvana. Fresh fish, high quality food. The Volcano fries have a sauce that will put a kick to your mouth like a kiss of flavorful fire. YUM!

Great food & great customer service! The Maui Chicken on top of the Volcano Fries were our favorite! It's a must! I also had the shoyu poke bowl & it was by far some of the best poke I've had in Salt Lake. Super fresh! My kids loved the Teri Beef! Will definitely be back! ??
