I’m giving 5 stars because of the server we had today. After consistently having a weekly, sometimes bi weekly breakfasts with my grandparents for the last 4-5 years or so, the pandemic made us very cautious, limiting our interactions to phone calls and texts. Today we resumed our routine with them for the first time in 7 months. My grandfather is the typical tough and hard nosed military man, that keeps his emotions close to the chest. My heart broke the moment he said, “We’ve missed you guys.” as his voice trembled. We found that they have still been coming to this location weekly. They relied on their friendship and relationship with a very special server. She knows my grandparents at a deep level. That type of authenticity and genuine compassion cannot be faked. Rae, thank you for being there and loving my grandparents as your own. Love the atmosphere you create there. God bless.

Such an amazing diner/comfort food restaurant. Friendly staff. Quick service. Huge portions.

Jim's has a great menu with a vast assortment of delicious food that truly tastes homemade. Their portions are generous and the prices are fantastic, so if you're looking for a great value there's no place better.

My husband & I have ordered takeout many times during quarantine, and our food has been wonderful each and every time. Breakfast potatoes are made with real butter, bacon is thick-cut & perfectly cooked, salads are loaded with ingredients, burgers & sandwiches are stacked high and dinner entrees taste just like grandma made--or better! Their turkey dinner is Thanksgiving all in one, the fish & chips and the shrimp dinner are both yummy. The bread pudding made a perfect dessert, if you have room!

We visit the Sandy location and always get fantastic service both over the phone & in person. Since takeout is our preference, we call our order in and it's always ready FAST, usually in 10-12 minutes. The one and only time there was a small error with our order, they went above and beyond to correct it. We highly recommend Jim's to anyone looking for a casual, family-friendly environment or delicious and speedy takeout. They're the best!!

I am very impressed with Jim's. The people are friendly and the food is great and reasonably priced. I was equally impressed by the way the police officers who came in were treated. People paid for their meals and other customers were thanking them for their service. So refreshing at this time of turmoil :-)

First time to Jim’s. Wasn’t sure what to expect. The strawberry Belgium waffle that I got was delicious. Very reasonably priced. I would recommend this place if you are looking for some good breakfast food. The waiter was very friendly and kept checking back with me because I was waiting on a friend. Not pushy at all. Very comfortable atmosphere!
