The ambiance and atmosphere was 10/10. The decore was very aesthetic and the live band put it over the top! However, the service was standard and the food was sub-par. Based on the overall quality of the food, the prices were quiet high.
Went a few weeks ago for brunch on a Sunday. Drinks were good and for the most part the food was really good; however our hash browns were burnt. They should have never served burnt hash browns especially for what I paid for our meal. One of the oysters was bad which made my friend sick. Our server discounted the bad oyster from our bill. Our server was friendly and attentive. The DJ added an additional fun atmosphere.
We started off with the beignets which were so yummy!
Two of us had the BLT Benedict and my other friend had steak and eggs.
I have been to Sunday's Best a number of times now and for some reason have not put out a review. My friends and I absolutely adore this restaurant! There is always parking, even when it looks full. So that's huge. Then you walk inside and are instantly greeted by the cutest decor. I highly recommend making a reservation otherwise you're likely in for a bit of a wait, but the staff does their best to make sure you're aware and they keep things moving pretty well. They also have a DJ or some sort of live music during the weekends which I think just adds to the fun of the vibe. Everything I've ever eaten has been so yummy, both sweet and savory items alike are killer. Some of my favorites are the breakfast burrito and their version of beignets. And you can't go wrong with their cocktails! They have the traditional brunch drinks like a Bloody Mary, espresso martini, mimosas, and then a few non-traditional knockouts.
We don't go here expecting a typical cheap diner-style brunch. It's a little more pricey, but totally worth it. Great for special events, or just something a little out of the norm for your everyday eating.
The staff at the restaurant were welcoming and created a pleasant atmosphere. While the food was satisfactory, it didn't leave a lasting impression. I had high hopes for exceptional breakfast items, but unfortunately, they fell short. It would be beneficial if they offered additional syrup and condiments without needing to request them. The standout item we enjoyed was the raspberry jam. Considering the quality of the food and the overall value, the prices were a bit much.
