Sakana Sushi Bar

Delicious sushi on the west side of the valley. I don’t know of any sushi farther west that beats Sakana. I recommend the hotty, vegas, playboy, or spicy tuna rolls. Staff is nice and it gets busy around dinner time. You can also order on the phone during these troubling 2020 quarantine times. Wear your mask and socially distance!

I’ve Been here multiple times and it’s always delicious! I highly recommend the Berry Hot roll. It’s not listed on the menu but is always a favorite! I highly recommend this restaurant for dine in or takeout

My wife and I absolutely love this place. I am writing this review after just finishing another amazing meal from here. We have tried many other sushi places in the area but non compare to Sakana. Their flavored saki is amazing and every sushi we have tried here is fantastic. The staff is extremely friendly and had multiple time gone above and beyond when it comes to service. I would go here above any other sushi place in the area. If you have not tried this place you must. They are also very accommodating to children which is very rare for a sushi place. I would give this place more than five stars if I could.

This is our new favorite Japanese restaurant. Everything down to the side salad was delicious! Seriously, a couple days later and I'm still dreaming about the gyoza (dumplings). If you get nothing else, I cannot stress this enough, get the dumplings! We also had the Caterpillar roll and chicken teriyaki entree, which were both beautiful and delicious. We will be back very soon!

Update 2/25 - Still excellent sushi and they have a great happy hour special on Mondays and Tuesdays. The Pink Flamingo is our new favorite but you can't go wrong with the Vegas roll.

Great place for sushi. One of the best in West Jordan and maybe the SL Valley.
