The staff are very polite and professional but make you feel like you are at home with friends. The best part was the food. The portions are large and the food is really good. I have eaten here 8 times now and it will remain a constant for me and my family. It is one my wife's favorite locations as well.

(August 1, 2020, 1:22 am)I’ve been to Black Bear Dinner a hand full of times and I usually get the chicken and waffles. This time it came out overcooked, but was at least remade after waiting a little bit. The service was excellent, and I definitely felt bad sending it back. My friends chicken fried steak was great though! The gravy was surprisingly good, and her fried chicken looked perfect. Definitely going to try the chicken fried steak next time!
