Cafe Rio Mexican Grill

I have never been since I'm from out of state but I was craving some Mexican food. There was a line so first sign that it must be good or I came in during their dinner hours. Took aboutv15 minutes to get my order but I watched as they made tortillas and that was a big positive. Another thing was the amount of food! The burritos were a meal in itself. You can order regular or enchilada style. You can puck between 4 salsas and it was very good. The burrito was excellent and all was fresh.. If you are in the area, its worth a visit.

This Cafe Rio location has lots of free parking and lots of tables inside with a unique feel to the interior. The drink bar is arranged with a separate alcove feel to it. Lots of Hispanic decor inside. This particular location doesn't have the modern interior design feel of other locations, but I prefer this interior over the modern. They serve Coke products and flavored lemonades. I live the food and the atmosphere. The only reason I gave it four stars was the service I received. I felt like a number to the staff behind the counter during the lunch crowd. It wasn't overly busy when I got there, but had picked up considerably when I left. I felt like they were a little incompetent with the way they worked behind the counter. They seemed to work independently of each other, so food and customers got lost along the way. They were definitely not like the well oiled machine that is some other Cafe Rio locations. Maybe the staff was just new and over time they'll learn to work together, but not today.
