Jim's Family restaurant has great home style food and exceptionally warm and friendly servers. Always a pleasure to come in and visit awhile and enjoy a good meal at a very fair price. Try the specials and enjoy soup or salad and dessert with your meal at no extra price. They also offer senior discounts.

GREAT breakfast place! You won't leave hungry. Personable staff with good service. Asked my buddy who lives in SLC for a "mom and pop" diner. Excellent choice.

I'd you like the old time mom and pop type cafe, you'll like Jim's. Meatloaf, hot turkey open faced style, etc. If your looking for something zesty and zippy, I suggest you try the Greek dressing. So good with a strong flavor. Umm.

This was our first time back to Jim's Family Restaurant in West Valley since before the pandemic. We took the family (6 of us) for brunch and the food and service was great, as usual! What was different and frankly amazing was how they have set things up to keep us all safe but able to have a great and relaxed meal as a family. The upgrades, like glass dividers between the benches, we're well thought out and look like they've been part of the restaurant from day one. My teenage son even asked if they'd always been there. The waitress was kind, happy, and patient with us as we got our order figured out and was in top of refills and making sure it needs were met. I would totally recommend Jim's for a great mid/post pandemic dine-in experience!
