I purchased a plantain bowl and jambalaya last night at the Bee. One bowl was 1/3 of a plantain and peanut sauce on white rice and the jambalaya was vegan (no shrimp or meat at all). It cost nearly $30 for essentially two small bowls of bland rice. Despite the small portions we ended up throwing about 1/2 away because it just wasn't palatable.

I awarded an extra star since the owner is such a sweetheart and the hot sauce was decent.

One of the top ten restaurants in the whole state of Utah, period. You are doing yourself a disservice every day that you do not come here.

Get the peanut chicken first thing, some ginger punch, then make sure to try a side of sweet fried plantains, and maybe an entree of spinach stew, or catfish. An appetizer of samosas that rival India's, perhaps?

Grab some beignets for dessert as well. Then make sure to thank the woman for one of the greatest meals of your life, and thank me later.

We got the combo meal (secret menu) which let us get a taste of everything including the beignets for desert! We walked away with two full, happy tummies and a box of leftovers. Fun ambiance and delicious food. Owner was friendly and personable. 4 stars instead of 5 because prices for the drinks weren't labeled. Definitely coming back!

Had gone for lunch with a friend. Awesome customer service. Nice ambience with cool music. The best smoked chicken I’ve ever had! The Bienna was also great. Try the hot sauce(in-house production)!
