Excellent tamales. Our favorite were tamales de raja. Super moist and delish while fresh and steaming hot.
Their tacos are large portions and could easily make 2 or 3 smaller tacos. We enjoyed the tacos al vapor the most. The green salsa for the tacos is excellent.
We loved the fresh tortillas and will be "regulars" for those. They are a little thicker than what you find in the store, definitely more moist, and they hold up very well.
We will definitely be going here on a regular basis for authentic Mexican food:)
This place is not pretty, its not fancy or nice but it is authentic, food taste 100% Mexican. I tried almost everything on the menu and was not disappointed, this place makes tortillas and that is their main business but their tacos, menudo were delicious. The tortillas smell amazing and are one of the best tasting tacos I tried in the Valley. The salsas are spicy and go great with the food. The service is prompt and friendly. Foodie approved
Cheap, delicious, authentic Mexican food. I've been going here for months, and until today I had never seen another white person in there hahaha. The menu is in Spanish, and everybody there (customers and employees) talks to each other in Spanish. That being said, I know absolutely zero Spanish and have no issues communicating. It's the definition of a hole in the wall, which adds to the experience. Make sure to pick up a Jarritos soda or Mexican Pepsi with your meal. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu; I've had it all and it has been fantastic.
I'd definitely give it 5 stars, even 6 if possible, due to the deliciousness of the food, atmosphere of the restaurant, and how affordable it is. You can get a full, delicious meal for under $7! Best bang for your buck possible in my opinion.
Warm tortillas from the machine are the star! The food is delicious and the price is right. BE careful with overspend with the fresh flavored water, they are yummy but overpriced. Stick with bottled water or soda from the can. Take some warm tortillas for $5 and share with your family, the package has about 3lb and you will be the Rockstar.
Truly authentic Mexican. Pretty much the definition of a "hole in the wall". They have supplies and random stuff laying around the dining room, but it adds to the ambience. Food is simple and fantastic. Bold and fresh flavor at value price.
