Maybe it was an off night, but the food was a miss for me. A lot of the seafood was rubbery and overcooked, and the desert bar was mostly grocery store snacks. All of the sushi was pretty, but not unique or flavorful. I do think they had a lot of food for the price and the restraint was very clean and the staff was really kind.
I liked the egg drop soup, crab Rangoon, and spring rolls. I paid $16.80 and left a few bucks as a tip.

I love this place, i come back after every visit and I’ll continue to come back. Their food is amazing and so far my favorite from the many Asian buffets I’ve been to. In their Mongolian station, they actually COOK your food it’s not half done or uncooked. They take their time to cook your dish for you and it’s absolutely amazing. It’s a clean place and has the most wonderful staff that make sure you have the best experience here. I love this place if i could give it more stars I would.

I don't know why some people dislike this place. This was my first visit, with some friends, and was the best buffet I've had in SLC. Quality cuts of beef and chicken, and I loved the seafood. I tried the fried shrimp and the octopus. We also shared sushi. Lots of options, good quality. I particularly liked the cucumber sushi. This was an amazing experience. Staff was very friendly. Hidden gem in the area

Panda buffets... located where the old Golden Corral used to be on 3500 South.

I'm very fond of Chinese buffets, so I thought I'd try this one out and see what it's like. Food wise, it was okay, a little bland, but all right. I was very impressed with the sushi bar! An older gentleman was preparing it, who obviously knew what he was doing. He was very very artistic when it came to the presentation of the sushi. As for the rest of the food, it really wasn't anything special. Your typical Chinese buffet and Mongolian bar.

The service was far below expectations. The server only came by twice to pick up our dirty dishes and there's something about being served by somebody in a face mask and blue gloves that makes it very impersonal - if you know what I mean?

There was no traditional music like in other Chinese buffets, but it definitely wasn't crowded - don't know if that's a good or bad sign.

Am I planning to come back here anytime soon? Probably not. However, I do wish the families that are running this establishment the best of luck and hope that they can improve things just a little bit more for in the future.
