Had the Pad Woon Sen and was NOT disappointed! This was not just good for a small town Thai place, but it was good for ANY place! I was wildly impressed with the quality and taste of the food, which has just the right amount of flavoring to bring out the flavors of the noodles, chicken, and vegetables without drowning them out. Service was a little slow, but at the time it was just a 2-person shop. I look forward to my next trip to Monticello!
This Thai restaurant is a hidden gem in a small town that mostly serves American food. So far we have eaten here twice, the food was excellent and so was the service. There’s always background music that is soft, serene, a good way to enjoy your meal along with a cold Thai tea. I’d like to see this restaurant in California, and give those other Thai restaurants a run for the money, very authentic and priced right!
So incredible. Got the massaman and Utah roll. Curry was phenomenal and sushi was solid. Great vibes kind, service. Possibly the best restaurant in southeast utah!
Excellent thai food! A hidden gem in the small town of Monticello, this restaurant would stand up to thai restaurants found in big cities. We ended up eating here two nights in a row. Highly recommend! NOTE: My stellar recommendation is for the thai half of the menu. The sushi was only mediocre, though satisfactory, but I highly recommend ordering the thai food.
Kao Soi (5 out of 5) - This northern thai dish, a rich creamy coconut broth with noodles and crispy fried wontons, is not usually on thai menus. So when I see it, I order it. And it was excellent here.
Pumpkin Curry - Another hit, a rich red curry with kabocha squash.
Drunken Noodles (5 out of 5) - Rich, spicy, fat noodles packed with umami flavor.
Tom kha fried rice - Another excellent fried rice dish with that lemongrass and coconut curry flavor.
Hotel had menu on display and recommended the place. We went to church and then here. We thought we needed to go, but chose to eat much if it there. The gentleman was willing to accommodate our unsure schedule. When he realized we could now stay, he brought us our waters.
Fantastic food! My children who have discerning tastes loved it. Large servings.
Worth the time. Priced right.
