(August 16, 2020, 3:03 pm)All the food coming out of the kitchen *looked* amazing. I ordered a pasta dish for lunch and was disappointed at how extremely salty and oily it was. May have been due to COVID, but no one asked us how the food was, so I just kept it. Probably wouldn’t go again. Or if I did-I would opt for a burger.

(March 10, 2020, 3:14 pm)Was very impressed with the variety on the menu. Our group had varying dietary needs and the menu satisfied all. The decor/atmosphere was very welcoming but our waiter wasn't. He seemed a bit annoyed with the large table (8). Other than that the food was delicious. Several people had the Wedge Salad as a starter even though it was large enough for a full meal and very tasty. The pot roast tasted home made and the special (fillet with mashed potatoes and veggies) was also very good. Overall impressed with the food. Wine was overpriced but a decent selection apart from the house brand.
The main dining area is upstairs with no elevator so be aware if anyone in your party has mobility restrictions. -

(August 4, 2019, 2:52 pm)We sat upstairs which had a better view of main Street. The atmosphere was inviting with very warm lighting. The service was friendly and attentive.
They have pretty extensive Vegan options as well.
We ordered the Red trout & the Vegan curry.
It was delicious.
I would highly recommend 501 on main.
