Lush’s Tennessee BBQ

Lush’s BBQ is a fantastic gem hidden just off interstate I80 beyond the large truck parking chain-up pull off exit behind the Sinclair station. Their brisket alone is worth pulling off to fill up your adventurous tummy! 😋 The in house sauces are tangy and yet still delicate. The house mustard slaw is an awesome experience and the gnocchi potato salad is a surprisingly good take on the BBQ plate staple. Back to that brisket, it’s properly sliced long and thin Texas style with delectable tenderness. Their rub and smoker imparts a fantastic smokey flavor that is award winning! I’m putting this on my list of must stop restaurants when traveling across I80!

Wow! This place is delicious. The pizza place we wanted to go to is closed on sundays and after camping in the uintas we wanted some food on our way back. Highly recommend this spot. The gnocchi potato salad is so good, the baked beans had good flavor and the ribs, brisket and pulled pork are all tender and juicy. The vinegary sauce is SO good too. We will be back!

Oh. My. Goodness. Absolutely hands down thee BEST BBQ I have ever had. The mustard coleslaw was amazing! The brisket WOW and the pulled pork…🤤

Wonderful barbecue! The portions were great and everything we had was cooked perfectly! Highly recommend the cornbread, ribs and mashed potatoes, although I don’t think you can go wrong!

Very authentic Tennessee style barbecue. I grew up in Georgia and never really developed a taste for the sweet thin vinegar based barbecue sauce. But the smoked brisket here is simply amazing. The ribs are also not to be missed. One surprise was the cornbread, it's made in a large waffle iron and comes out crisp and fluffy with a savory flavor. Wonderful. I'll have to try it at home.
