Sushi Blue

Late afternoon on Labor Day. My parents had a large salad, Poke, that our wonderful waitress, Aubrey, split for them. My dad commented a couple of times on how tasty it was. I had the large sashimi with 5 different types of fish that were very fresh, great tasting and with a beautiful presentation, accompanied by unique side compliments other than just the typical daikon white radish. The sunomono salad had a great flavor as well. Aubrey was very pleasant, accomodating and personable. She also gave us a dining voucher which I hope to use in the next 3 months. Ours was a 5-star experience!

I have been eating at Sushi Blue for the past couple of years. Typically, the menu and service are both excellent. Tonight was different. I stopped by to pick up take-out. The fish had gone bad - which, to be fair, could be a consequence of COVID-era Supply Chain dynamics. They still shouldn’t feed it to people. I specifically asked for extra eel sauce, extra extra pickled ginger, & extra extra extra wasabi (I wish I could order all those sides by the pint) - and offered to pay whatever necessary for those sides. I received nothing. Even if the fish hadn’t gone bad, I still would have thrown it out because I don’t see the point of eating sushi without massive piles of pickled ginger, wasabi, eel sauce, & soy sauce.

very fresh ingredients. However the service Could slightly improve, especially since work at Blind Dog restaurant where we go above and beyond.. I know these small details can change if brought to the attention of staff.. for example the few rolls they always throw in, some are basically seaweed and rice:/ Also, the hosts who take my ToGo orders over the phone should get on the same page, some offer me the lunch deal with a side of soup or edamame, others don’t and I’m charged different every time even though I order California roll and nothing else each time. Some of them give me a bag with utensils others give me nothing but the clear box the rolls come in. When this changes , I’ll change my review to 5 stars.

We ordered take out. The ramen was absolutely flavorful and delicious! Don't forget to order the street tacos! WOW those were good! Highly recommend!

Always a great experience when I come here. Mariah was our sushi ninja and made our rolls spot on. I take back my comment saying that flying sumo has the best sushi in Pc. I think sushi blue is better!!! Staff is super friendly. Try the Finns roll inside out and fried!
