Outdoor dinning is just magical! Service is the best in the Basin! Staff is amazing. Loved the environment, very peaceful and relaxing. I’ve fallen in love with their food as well.
I’d come for the peaceful music and a respite from the mind numbing music most places play these days alone. Nice piano or other classical music, including Spanish guitar a lot of the time. So peaceful and calm. The environment and atmosphere alone keeps me coming. This place has class. The gourmet food is a plus! I can think and have a conversation, feeling calm and at peace. High sense of refinement that most places lack these days.
Great place to dress up for dinner. Staff dresses very professional, place has linen napkins and table cloths at every table…nice dinnerware and glasses. Fresh flowers and greenery each day. Real roses at some tables even. Has a special historical feel of Vernal that is very nice and charming. Owner himself seems to be a gourmet chef and everything he cooks is phenomenal.
Very kind and thoughtful down to earth owner and staff. They gave me free dessert once because my food took a few minutes longer than they thought it should of took and I hadn’t even noticed a delay…I hadn’t complained. So very nice, I always feel very welcome. Staff listens very well to feedback and cares what people think.
Their Philly cheesesteak is the best in the Basin for sure. Their sauces are amazing! I love to dip the homemade appetizer bread into the Jalapeño Aioli sauce.
Outdoor dinning is amazing and magical too.
I want to start by saying, this place has potential. I was weary about trying the Chefs tasting menu in Vernal. They touted French onion soup, not edible. SO GROSS! Only one of us out of 4 ate it. Also, very confusing because they brought out all courses at the same time so our table was just full of all these courses. They need to time the delivery of food to make it an enjoyable experience. I will also say, the Tuna They served was really good. Very pleasantly surprised. With some tweaks & different soup than that French onion slop, this place could be good.
I'm not sure what happened to us, but it was an experience I hope none of you go through. There were only 2 customers in the restaurant when we walked in. 2 people came in right after us. One hour later, the couple who walked in after us had their leftovers in the boxes. We had our drinks, no food, no soup, no salads.
The waitress came out 3 different times to make sure she had the order right. She asked what kind of salad dressing we wanted, and after we asked for 2 different kinds, she told us all they have is ranch! The potatoes were very bland. The steaks were OK, but not for the price.
The manager did come out and said he was told we had some issues. I explained everything to him, and he asked what he could to make it up. He offered desserts, and I said it didn't make up for the wait and the issues. He then said we wouldn't have to pay for one of the meals.
Good luck to you, and we will be checking to see if it was a freak issue or if things have really gone downhill.
Extremely impressed. It’s New Year’s Eve, and we are traveling through town. Due to omicron, we are not dining in. Though they don’t exactly offer take out, being a nice steakhouse and all, they went far above and beyond to help us out, allowing us to pick up an incredible Wagyu prix fixe roast, with roasted potatoes, a fresh green salad, and crème brûlée that was PLATED to take back to our Airbnb. The restaurant itself was charming, and I hope to be able to dine in next time I’m in town. Superb staff, high quality beef, lovely spot, highly recommend.
