American Fork Black Bear Diner

This is our third time coming to the Black Bear Diner in American Fork. At all three visits I thought the food was very good. The Waitresses were nice and courteous and the manager was very nice as well. But why I gave them only three stars is the fact that the cooks as well as the manager were only wearing their masks over their mouth or chin and did not cover their noses. This defeats the purpose of a mask. One of the cooks, saw us looking at him with his mask down and he must have realized what we were thinking and he put his mask up over his nose at that time. But the manager never did.
We deliberately went to the Black Bear because I was told that EVERYONE wore masks appropriately and disinfected all surfaces as well as menus. So I was disappointed.

I've always had a decent experience at black bear. Their portion sizes are huge and the food is pretty yummy. There are a few items on the menu I do not care for but that is based on personal taste preference. The menu selection is decent as well. I love that they serve breakfast all day. My kids love the pancakes. And the staff is always prompt and extremely friendly! I would recommend this place for sure ?

I want to love these guys. The food is great and curbside or delivery is perfect. They are really struggling g to figure out in person dining with all the new rules. Stood thier listening to them take a reservation on the phone e only to be told they don't do that when I called later.

This Black Bear Diner is I believe in Lehi Utah and I went there by myself. It was 9 o'clock at night on a Saturday. There was not a booth for me because place was packed. Then after I was seated 2 more giant parties came in. My food was delivered in a pretty timely manner compared to what I thought it was going to be. The waiter was delightful I believe he was brand new and I would definitely come back here and eat again. Very friendly staff. The Portions of of food are huge so I took half of that home.

Good food and good service. I appreciate they are open early in the morning and my companion and I can get a nice environment to talk and eat. Friendly service and prompt food. The avocado toast was excellent. Thanks for creating a great atmosphere. My companion really enjoyed the french toast.
