ok pizza with great service. I don't get the olives...
Great service, shout out to my server, Cari, she was able to provide wonderful service in this age of covid as a F&B employee myself her professionalism with the new service requirements, were above and beyond. We got a cheese pizza and a veggie pizza. it came out fast and delicious! Definitely one of my favorite spots in Orem pre-covid and now during covid to know that health is a main concern of the establishment. After serving in many restaurants in Orem and SLC there are definitely places I will not eat at because of the habits some servers have. Recommended this place for sure, thanks Cari and team for making our visits always memorable. Shout out to kitchen staff as well!
First time I had Lucy's pizza it was some of the best I'd had in the valley - copious amounts of flavorful cheese, great sauce and foldable dough. Went back for a second time hoping for similar quality.
Unfortunately the quality went from the one of the best to one of the worst pizzas I've tasted. Thin layer of cheese, could barely taste the sauce and the dough was burnt making each bite taste like burnt toast. The first time I've ever had to throw 90% of a pizza in the trash. Very disappointed.
Update: Gave it another try and the pizza was good.
Last I ate at Lucy's was 5 years ago in 2015. So why am I writing a review now in 2020?
Because the waiter back in 2015 made such a lasting impression with my friend and I who dined there. I wish I remembered his name, and I don't even know if he still works there, but he was friendly, funny and social-able. He kept us well fed and kept the drinks flowing the entire time. He sat down with us during the slow period and just talked. It was like meeting a new friend.
My friend and I still to this day talk about this waiter, and how he took care of us and how he danced when he saw our large tip left for him. Just a great memory and really good food!
As for pizza places go, it’s good but better in the valley. Ordered the Pepperoni and it was delightful. When it comes to basic pizza I really enjoy the flavors of it. However the margarita pizza wasn’t the best, not bad though. When we ordered it was a busy Friday night so the pizza was half folded over. I don’t hold that against them though. Good pizza for a slice.
