The Purple Turtle is classic Pleasant Grove. I came here as a kid when my aunt lived in the area and now it is fun to come here having recently moved to Pleasant Grove. The onion rings are AMAZING!

This place is absolutely a landmark in PG and Utah County, for the building shape and color alone. However, it’s a fun place to eat too. I’ve never been the biggest fan of their food - their burgers and corn dogs are alright (tater tots are fantastic though), but the main reason I would go is for the shakes. They make a delicious shake that will hit the spot for any sweet craving. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but that’s alright because it’s a local small business and they community seems to support small business!

Great food. Not cheap but the whole family loves it. We can never finish all of our french fries. Fry sauce is excellent. Food has a real home made quality and is well put together. If you like authentic food then you need to try this place out. Oh yeah, they have a ton of shake flavors as well.
