Years ago, I bought some awesome enamel “Where the Wild Things Are” pins here. They have a deal where if you bring in a parking ticket you get a discount on your ice cream and they use the best ice cream from Rockwell Creamery. Check them out!
Penguin Brothers catered my husbands office party. I ordered a vanilla bean sandwich with chocolate chip and fudge chocolate cookie sides. The vanilla bean ice cream was creamy and wonderful. The chocolate chip cookie was soft and delicious. The fudge chocolate cookie was hard and flavorless. It tasted way too many days old.
My son ordered the s’mores ice cream sandwich with chocolate chip cookie sides. The ice cream was just as creamy as the vanilla. It was also rich and crazy sugary. It tasted good, but way too much even for my son. The chocolate chip cookies were not consistent. One was soft and the other was hard.
I’d like Penguin Brothers more if they could guarantee that their cookies were soft all the time. I’m not a hard cookie person, and I don’t want to go somewhere I would be rolling the dice on the product I receive.
When BYU gives you a parking ticket, BRING IT TO THE PENGUIN BROTHERS! $4 off your purchase. Got this snickerdoodle pizookie with s’mores ice cream and caramel drizzle! (Talk to me nice🤤)
This ice cream shop is phenomenal. Every ice cream flavor I tried was incredible and delicious. The flavors were focused and on point. The cookies left a little something to be desired because they weren’t quite up to the same quality as the ice cream, however the cookies were still quite tasty and delicious. But maybe I just don’t like cookies as much haha. The pizookie was delicious though and I’d say more in line with the quality of the ice cream.
Ice cream: 11/10 best strawberry ice cream I’ve ever had- I don’t normally even like strawberry ice cream.
Atmosphere: 10/10 great music, cute colors and great branding- very recognizable.
Price: 6/10 pretty expensive but worth it- especially for the quality.
We went to Penguin Brothers for the first time last night and were so impressed by the experience and the treats. Super amazing service, the building decorations are so cute (& humorous), and the ice cream was delicious. And I love their parking ticket wall. Will definitely be recommending.
