Station 22

Slow service, small portions - but delicious!

Saturday night at 6:30pm was a 30 min wait for 2 people, then once ordered it too another 30 min to get our food.

I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was very tasty, but the portion was very small, (5 or 6 pieces of shrimp and maybe a cup of grits?), I was still hungry afterward. I guess that leaves room for dessert

I have reviewed Station 22 before. But they have recently remodeled their restaurant and menu. Today I had chicken with biscuits and gravy. The biscuits weren't my favorite but they were good. What I did really like was their chicken and loved their house hot sauce. So much I bought a bottle to take home.

Best food in SLC area we've had all week. Probably the best biscuits and fried chicken I've had in a very long time. Service was better than excellent from Jarrod. We could not be happier and full. If anyone else posts anything different, they are out of their gourds! Fresh lemonade is tasty. Fried chicken is excellent. Biscuits are best I've had.

We’ve been to Station 22 quite a few times and always liked it. We just went after their remodel/menu update and LOVED it. I admit I miss the quirky decorations they had before, but it still looks nice and has a great feel. My husband (who is from the south and has eaten fried chicken all his life) got the fried chicken and said it may be the best fried chicken he’s ever had. I got the fried chicken sandwich and it was amazing! Servers were great, we’d recommend it to anyone.

I come to this place JUST for the deep fried cookie dough. Yes, you read that right. The desserts alone deserve 5 stars. I've tried almost everything on the menu and enjoyed all of it. Can't go wrong with this place. Recently remodeled to look nice. I personally preferred the old, rustic look, but the new look leaves the place looking neat and clean.
