Waffle Love - Provo Riverwoods

Cute shop, food is expensive, but honestly way good. I recommend getting the waffle crossaint, it is lighter and fluffier. I wish I got ice cream on mine, I tried my sister's and it tasted like Kirkland ice cream, soo good. Dad got the chicken which was surprisingly really good, perfectly cooked and super hot.

I’ve always had a good experience when I’ve come to this location. The employees are always super friendly here. I usually only come here if I have a gift card or a deal such as buy one get one free. It’s decent food. It’s a bit over priced though and the some of the portions are small. My husband usually gets the chicken and waffles which he’s enjoyed. I tried the chicken sando for the first time and it was good. I loved the flavor of it.

I would not usually pick waffles as a dinner item, but the Ron Swanson in me loves a good breakfast for dinner. I think that Leslie Knope would agree that Waffles are for any time of day! I was pleasantly surprised by the myriad of choices, and everything I tried was delicious.

I don't really do reviews. This might even be my first. The food alone wasn't good enough for me to write a review, but the entire place would have to be either astronomically good or bad for me to write a review usually, I normally wouldn't write a review about this place even though there was an offer for a free dish(I can't remember what it was). But the employee who was working there this morning absolutely deserves this five star review.

I did have to wait a couple minutes before she could take my order because she was putting the toppings on the nine waffle order, but it took me most of that time to decide exactly what I wanted anyway. She did notice me come in and told that she would be a few minutes so I wasn't being ignored. The people that came in after me didn't have to wait nearly as long either because the orders were smaller. She seemed happy to be there even though she was holding down the fort alone. My order of two different waffles was finished quickly and the quality of both the look and the taste was very good. The atmosphere of the place was very nice as well. I noticed afterwards that the table was a little sticky, but it could have been something that happened while I was eating or got stuck to the plate while she was arranging the waffle toppings.

That employee deserves a raise and if they aren't a manager a promotion and if they are either the manager or owner of that location, they deserve a raise anyway and should know that they are what a manager or owner of a small location should strive to be like. Except for the lack of employees due to either lack of employees available or bad scheduling. One person shouldn't have to operate a full restaurant by themself.

I short, the staffing situation was horrible, but the person working there made you mostly forget that fact even if it was one of the slower hours. I edited this review after seeing a two star one talking about how the place was understaffed and not clean. It was definitely understaffed, but it was definitely cleaner that when that person went. The sticky stuff on my table was only in a very small spot where my plates had been.

Really fun waffles! If you love biscoff spread there are several options for you. We ended up getting the banana foster. Food was made pretty quickly, and it was really good. It might look expensive, but in comparison to other places that sell waffles, it’s not that bad.
