Dinner tonight @afterwordrestaurant was perfect. Although very busy, my wife and I were greeted promptly and warmly received. The ambiance was everything you want with an outside, summer dinner. The live music was excellent, the lighting dim, and the vibe was chill.
For a starter, we chose the Fried Drake Family Farm Goat Cheese with beet chips.
Our entrees were the Desert Mountain Flat Iron Steak and the Black Striped Bass. The plate presentations were neat and classy. We cut and shared portions of both, and both were uniquely superb. (See the "entrees" pic for descriptions)
The service from Natalie and Leslie was polite and professional, beginning to end. The bus/water boys were fast and kept our table clean and clear of finished dishes.
I proudly recommend Afterword Restaurant (in downtown Heber) by Tupelo Park City for the ideal outdoor dining experience.
A new hip little restaurant in Heber on Main St. Cozy and inviting atmosphere. Come on the weekends and sit outside for live music. The food was all made from scratch and was excellent. We got the deviled eggs (I don’t even like deviled eggs and these were good) and the biscuits to start. Biscuits were amazing. The flat iron steak was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The pesto noodles are made fresh daily right in Heber. Also an excellent dish. We will definitely be back to test out the rest of the menu.
Amazing new place! The food was excellent. Service was great! Those little biscuits are delicious. Wonderful patio where you can social distance. Beautiful space. Live music on the weekends! We’ll be back for that fried chicken. Thank you!
First off the food was delicious. I had the Rabit Pot Pie and all the vegetables where seasonal. Never liked turnips till tonight and the rabbit was so moist and juicy. But I have to say the thing that impressed me the most was how clean and efficient they were about keeping the place clean, tidy, and sanitized. Tables and chairs were washed down within seconds of costumers leaving. I even saw the bus boy changing his gloves between sanitizing. If you want a worry free place to eat and great food this is the place to go.
