Looking for real authentic Jamaican food? You will find it here. So good and feels like I’m in Jamaica, jerk chicken was amazing, rice and peas.. the best, definitely will be coming back soon. I even brought another who is not a spice fan and she loved the brown stewed chicken as seen in the picture. You will love it and you will then thank us later!!! Enjoy and you better get over here.
Cheryl is cooking up the best of Jamaican eats. The staff is always helpful and patient with your menu selections and will recommend the best option for you. Don't be afraid of the flavorful sauces and curries, you won't be disappointed. The mac and cheese is the only thing we will not order again, everything else was beyond delicious. Plantains are an always must and the cabbage can't be beat. Take a meat pie to go, you'll want to enjoy those yummy flavor
Good lord this is good stuff. We got five different dishes and a bunch of sides. Everything….everything was amazing. The jerk chicken and pork was spicy and savory, the fish was awesome, and the curry and brown stew chicken were just packed with flavor. The rice, something typically the blandest part of any meal, was also something special and could stand on its own. The macaroni….ridiculous. Green beans…more please. The cabbage and carrots…yup.
Wish I lived in st George just for this. Definitely will be going back.
Just as amazing as everyone says. Unbelievably moist and tender chicken, nice and spicy but not overwhelmingly so. Even the rice was better than I thought it could be. The new $5 bowls are the perfect quantity without sacrificing quality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a positive experience. It was obvious that the owner and other cooks cared about the food they served. Definitely the culinary highlight of my visit to St. George. Almost got an introvert to go back in to compliment them.
So, so good. We got oxtail with peas/rice and green beans, chicken curry with white rice and cooked cabbage/carrots, and the fish fritters.
Every detail was perfect. The meats were tender, flavorful, and delicious. The sauces were amazing. The cooked vegetables were perfection, potatoes in the curry melt-in-your-mouth, and the rice was the perfect consistency (the "peas" in the rice weren't green peas, but some type of bean that looks like a kidney bean).
Counting down the days until I can come back and try more dishes on the menu! 😁
