Slackers

The locals favorite place, Slackers has various hamburgers, Buffalo burgers, chicken sandwiches, pulled pork, and salads. Their milkshakes seem to a favorite with everyone. Dining is both inside and on a lovely covered patio. Torey's finest hamburgers!

Omfg. Just a simple, but GENIUS burger. More mind-blowing than most of Capitol Reef's landscape!

Loved it here! Once I saw the name and what it looked like, I knew this was the place to try for dinner. Then we saw the sign about it being the #4 mom and pop place in Utah! Sold! We split the Philly beef sandwich, and fries and it was all soooo good!! We will go again if we get back this way!

It's pretty good. That pretty much sums this place up. But I have one really great memory when I went on a week long backpacking trip and this was my first real meal in a week and it was literally the best food I had ever had.

My Wife does not like French Fries very often. But she eat every Fry that even looked like it was not going to be eatin. Had the Famous Cheese burger and pulled pork sandwich. Loved the sweet BBQ sauce on the sandwich. Easy to see from the street with good parking. Very clean inside. Yet the food was not quite 5 star. A little bit to expensive. But I get it that you have to make the money when the visitors come. Love the License Plate everywhere.
