Big Jim's Burger

I really like their halibut fish and chips dinner plate and the Big Jim's pastrami burger. The french fries are great, especially with their home made fry sauce. The fish and chips comes with a salad and pita bread if you like to make a sandwich. The salad was wilted real bad my last visit or I would have rated them 5 stars.

I ordered a party melt and when I got home it was a hamburger party on Texas toast with American cheese. Very disappointing as I have had a party melt in the past and it was fabulous, nor sure what happened yesterday ??

Fast service and great tasting comfort food.

The environment is interesting. Pieces of art depicting stuff from the middle east. The menu is old fashioned but it wasnt dirty and ruined. I liked how they said my order over the intercom, that was cool
I ordered the bog jim combo with medium drink for 10.53 which is a bit high for the quality. The burger wasn't anything special. The bun was like an 1/8 inch thick so it was hard to not have stuff falling out. There wasn't any distinctive flavor from the meat either.
The fries i would say are better than the burger. Thick cut, could have used a little more frying time for a little more crisp.
They give you the cups for dipping sauces, which was only fry sauce when i was there.
My overall is that for what i got $10.53 is to high. Maybe down 2 bucks lower would be an accurate cost for what i got.

If you want it good, fast, and old school this is the place.
