Maverik Adventure's First Stop

I have been a Maverick customer for years. I have the Nitro card and I have convinced others to get a Nitro card. All our gas for 3 vehicles, drinks, snacks and occasionally (a lot more than my wife likes) breakfast burritos. I have spent money, received countless freebies and always use my points to enter contests (still waiting for a win).
I was there last night and 10:02 and there was a barricade in front of the bathrooms saying they were closed at 10PM. I am not usually there that late, so it's the first time I saw it. It looked like a cheap or temporary solution, and based on other comments, it's been going on at least 5 months. It's a terrible image.
Anyway, I really, really had to go. I was also thirsty and out of gas. But, when I saw the bathroom was closed, I drove to Sinclair to take care of all my needs in one stop. It's important to note that on a Wednesday night at 10PM there parking lot was full, the store was full and there was no shortage of business going on there.
It's a shame that the best in the business is working to be mediocre.

I visit this Maverik multiple times a week and while it is clean with lots of candy options, gas pumps, and clean bathrooms, I have to knock off a star because of some of my interactions with employees. I would personally rather use the self checkout that interact with specific employees. I witnessed one of the female employees get upset with a customer and telling them that they were being "wasteful" for dumping some ice out of their cup.. ice!

There are always a lot of unhoused people hanging around asking for money.
