Schneiter's Riverside Golf

My fiancee works here, Derick Wagstaff. So recently we had a strong windstorm and it was devastating so see the damage that it caused to the course. So I decided to contribute my next 2 days off and lend an extra hand in helping the crew clean up after the storm. I found out how much the crew cared about making the course safe and playable for there customers. They were very pleasant people to work with. It was amazing to see how many people were willing to help and how well everyone came together. I would definately recommend riverside to anyone who is looking to play a course where they take great pride in their work to make sure their customers are happy. I really enjoyed my time there and would like to thank everyone for letting me come help with this very unfortunate storm.

Most friendly golf course I have been too. Professional but clearly family owned with that country charm but modern feel. I think I found a new home course.

Pro’s: This is a really nice course. It’s well-kept, scenic, and has a fun layout and challenge for all experience levels of golfers. Oh and range finders on the cart is always a sweet perk as well.

Cons: This place gets WAY too packed. They seriously set tee times up for every 10 minutes that really slows down play. Got stuck in traffic the first time we tried coming here and ended up 5 minutes late for our tee time and lost our spot for the entire day. Next time we tried again and made sure we were there plenty early, and even still they didn’t have a spot ready for us. We were then told we had to jump to hole #2, and then finish up on #1 after finishing #9. Which honestly, I didn’t really mind it was just that we were still waiting at least 15-20 minutes between holes since it was so packed. It also didn’t help that the group directly in front of us kept hitting from the blue tees when they couldn’t even reach the woman’s tees from there. They got to do something about speeding this place up.

However, if you can catch them on a non-busy day, you’ll have a blast.

Great time playing foot golf, which is played with a soccer ball in foursomes. Green fee for foot golf only was $12. Lots of fun with some friends.

Its my first time here today and I only did the front 9. I really like the location and the carts have some cool range finders. I will be back to finish the back nine.
