The Oaks Restaurant

This rustic restaurant, with an all American food menu is located on the side of a canyon. The food is very good as is the many flavors of ice cream. Many of the outside tables overlook the small canyon river. The service was excellent and the food came out quickly.

A quaint little place up Ogden canyon. Simple menu consists of burgers and sandwiches with a few dinner items. The food is not fancy but it is tasty and fresh. A few bucks more but well worth it for the views of the canyon and sitting close to the river. Service was good and the staff is polite. Our table was very wobbly and it would have been nice to not have the table wobbling back and forth the whole time. I feel it is a great place for date night out. For dessert try the fry bread with ice a scoop of ice cream.

I went to the Oaks on this past Saturday and was seated quickly. I was impressed with the affordable pricing and the variety of food. The table ordered a variety of entrees, appetizers, and dessert. I was impressed with the service by Danette and her friendly attitude. She was great with refilling our drinks and ensuring we had what we needed. She also gave us time to visit as we sat by the river and enjoyed the cool air towards the end of our meal. The ambiance mixed with great food was wonderful. We will definitely be back!

We came here for a double date and it was wonderful. We got here around 5 p.m. Saturday, we didn't wait but a couple minutes to be seated. We were blessed to be right next to the river (which was very pleasant) and Danette, our server is very knowledgeable with the menu (we took her recommendations) and she made sure our drinks were full, she also was so kind and had a great sense of humor. It really was the perfect date. My wife had the Reuben sandwich and she loved it. I had the flank steak, it was very tender and tasty and the the couple who were with us, has the chicken sandwich with lemon slaw and fish tacos. Plus the spinach salad with apples and bleu cheese was delicious and so was the nachos (hey, we were hungry alright.) kudos to the Oaks for a great Saturday experience. We will be back.

My family had an amazing experience at the oaks! We were seated quickly and the waiter was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The food was amazing! I had the oak’s burger with sweet potato fries and the oak’s burger is the best burger I have ever had and the sweet potatoes fries are also the best sweet potato fries I have ever had! The area is amazing! I loved being outside in the fresh air. But if you don’t want to sit outside they still have seating inside. Over all I had a great experience!
