Avocado Pit

Extremely fast making of food, great service, and delicious ingredients. Before the Avocado Pit was opened, it was run as ‘Cilantros’ by a completely different owner. The few things that have changed, ended up changing for the better. The food may be 2$ more expensive than previous, however, it is all the more worth it. They even have student friendly meals, ranging from a double taco with a drink for 6-7$, to a delicious and massive burrito for $10.95. If you’re going by yourself, expect to spend around $15 per person. All the food they serve is filling, and in my own opinion the ‘hottest’ sauce they allow you to put on the food (3 chili peppers hot) isn’t quite that hot. For spice addicts like myself, they do have hotter options that go up to 6 and 8 chili peppers, reaching around 250K scolville units. (Habanero spicy). All in all, a great place to eat for lunch, and still by far my most visited place in Manchester Vermont for Mexican food.
