Brown's Market Bistro

Great food, great price and a great experience.
We stopped in while touring covered bridges and other sites. We knew nothing about Browns Market Bistro before we stumbled across it.
We were a medium size group of 8 people including 4 children. We were well treated to both some great food and great conversation with some locals and the folks working at the store/cafe.
The service was quick and friendly, the food was hot and tasty. The had a fairly large offering on the menu, but I opted for the special of the day.
We also shared an order of Poutine which is rare in Utah where we are from. It wasn't strictly traditional because it was made with mozzarella cheese and not Cheddar curds which I believe is traditional, but we enjoyed it very much. It compared favorably with traditional Poutine we had a few days later in Montreal.
I hope to visit this place again in the future, although 2,000 miles is a bit far to make a special trip.

The restraunt is under new management. It is a must when visiting Groton. Zach is the 2012 chef of the year..

We went to Brown's Market Bistro for Mother's day. Many of my Mother's friends have recommended this bistro, and we wanted to try it out. This bistro far exceeded our expectations. The food was amazing and in my mother's word was an "excellent meal". Everyone in the dinner party ordered a different entree, and everyone was beyond satisfied. In other words: GO HERE!!! YOU WON"T REGRET IT!!! :)!!!
